Martyr Sadr Forces (Arabic: Quwat al-Shaheed al-Sadr)- not to be confused with the Badr Organization's deployment to Syria- is a Shi'a militia operating in Iraq. It is tied to the Da'wah Party- Tanẓim al-Iraq, a pro-Iranian break-off from the original Da'wah Party. 'Martyr Sadr' is a reference to Ayatollah Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, who founded the original Da'wah Party and was murdered by Saddam's regime.
