Hezbollah al-Tha'irun is a Shi'a militia led by one Rahman al-Jaza'iri, who also heads the al-Warithun bloc that participated in the 2014 parliamentary elections. As its name suggests, Hezbollah al-Tha'irun is a Hezbollah brand, extending to use of similar imagery and admiration for Hassan Nasrallah. Kata'ib Hezbollah- an established Iranian proxy in Iraq- denies having links to Hezbollah al-Tha'irun.
