Kata'ib al-Zahara' is a Shi'a militia that was led by one Muhammad al-Abyad (now deceased) and Habash al-Tamimi, both of whom reportedly fought in Aleppo in Syria. The militia appears to have originated from the Iranian proxy Faylaq al-Wa'ad al-Sadiq, which has also fought in Aleppo. Some claimed areas of operation include Tikrit and Abu Ghraib.
