Hezbollah al-Ghalibun
Not yet designated terrorist by a Western country Base of operations: Iraq
Hezbollah al-Ghalibun ("Hezbollah the Conquering Ones") is a Shi'a militia and political party operating in Iraq, headed by Muhammad Majid al-Nasiri. It is one of the many Hezbollah brands in Iraq though its existence predates the major security crisis of 2014: the group's leader notably denounced Wathiq al-Battat, the leader of Jaysh al-Mukhtar (another Hezbollah brand), as a criminal with no real army in February 2013. Notable areas of activity include Diyala province and Baghdad, and sample areas of military operation include the Samarra area. Kata'ib Hezbollah denies links with Hezbollah al-Ghalibun.
