Labbayk ya Zainab translates as "At your service, oh Zainab"- it features frequently on Shi'a jihadi social media graphics, Shi'a militiamen arm-patches and uniforms, and as a more general battle-cry and slogan for Shi'a jihadis fighting in Syria, whether from Hezbollah, the Iraqi Shi'a militia groups etc. Zainab refers to the Sayyida Zainab shrine in the Damascus area that is a key narrative focal point for Shi'a militiamen coming to Syria to fight.
