Jabhat al-Nusra: White Minaret

The White Minaret (al-Manara al-Baydaa) is the main media wing of Jabhat al-Nusra, responsible for most official statements, videos and photo releases. Beginning from the end of 2013, a number of regional provincial Twitter feeds were set up for the White Minaret in Syria to counter the Islamic State's effectiveness in attracting attention via the provincial news feeds.
