Badr Organization Martyrdom Poster

The individual depicted died fighting under the Badr Organization's military wing in the Samarra area in July 2014. Note the depiction in this poster on the top right of Ayatollah Khamenei and Ayatollah Sistani, even as the latter is opposed to Iranian proxy militia mobilization (correlating with his opposition to the Iranian conception of Wilayat al-Faqih) and accordingly issued a fatwa for Iraqis to enlist in lawful security forces. The featuring of Sistani is included to garner legitimacy among Iraqi Shi'a.
