A militia that has emerged as part of the wider Shi'a mobilization since June 2014 in response to the threat of the Islamic State, Hezbollah the Mujahideen in Iraq is a group led by Abbas al-Muhammadawi of the Abna' al-Iraq al-Ghayyara political bloc. It is not the same as the Iranian proxy Kata'ib Hezbollah.
